Orleans MA is a lovely, quaint little town located in Barnstable County. Orleans real estate was first settled in 1693 and officially incorporated in 1797. Orleans is a small town, with a population of 6,300 people in approx. 3000 households. The city is situated on the narrows of Cape Cod, between Skaket Beach on Cape Cod Bay and Nauset Beach on the Atlantic, providing miles and miles of brilliant coastline.

Orleans is part of a group of seven villages in the Barnstable County. The closest neighbor is the village of Hyannis, which serves as the main commercial sector. The Orleans real estate area is open to many harbors dedicated to marine activity, including scuba diving and surfing. The stretching dunes, crisp water, and undersea wrecks from the past four centuries of shipping lanes offer an immense environment to explore, making Orleans one of the most interesting coastal towns on the Atlantic.
